Greenville, PA—On June 15, 2010, law enforcement and safety professionals, educators and academic leaders, and corporate executives and community leaders throughout Western Pennsylvania will gather together to celebrate the start of an extraordinary new initiative – The Regional Training Center at Thiel College. The Center, which officially opens its doors this summer, has been created to support the delivery of in-service and continuing education training in school safety, all-hazards crisis management and emergency response preparedness, and other specialized areas of study. Progressive technology and training will help guide leaders in their proactive planning and response in communities and schools throughout the region. One of The Center’s distinguished training consultants, Dan Ostronic, will be leading the dedicated team of professional instructors and thought leaders at The Center. Together, this team offers 350 years of collective experience in the fields of law enforcement, behavioral science, business, education and emergency management for local, state and federal agencies including the FBI, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service and many more.
