2009 HOMECOMING COURT ANNOUNCED

GREENVILLE, PA – Britain Callen of Andover, Ohio, and Jordan Jeter of Corapolis, Pa., were crowned Thiel College’s 2009 Homecoming King and Queen at the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Callen is a senior criminal justice and psychology major with minors in forensic psychology and sociology. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, the Thiel Activities Board, the Thiel softball team and Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC). She is also senior class president and was named to Who’s Who Among College Students. Callen is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Callen.
Jeter is a senior psychology major. He is a member of Thiel’s Men’s Leadership organization, where he holds the position of social chair. He is the son of Pam Council of Corapolis, Pa.

Sheila Gross is the president of the English honorary, vice president of the Student Government Association, editor-in-chief of “The Phoenix,” Thiel’s literary magazine, vice president of Les Lauriers, the senior honorary, and a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honorary. She also is a student worker in the Admissions Office, and a Writing Lab and Western Humanities tutor. She is the daughter of Richard and Andrea Gross of Sharpsville, Pa.
Cody Kendera is a biology and pre-dental major. He is involved with the Thiel Players and president of Alpha Psi Omega honorary. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Kendera of Johnstown, Pa.
Janice Ringer, of Fredonia, Pa., is a member of the track & field team and Sigma Kappa sorority. A political science major, Ringer is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Ringer Jr.
Greg Hogan, of Uniontown, Pa., is a biology major. He is a member of the Thiel wrestling team and president of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Hogan.
Jamie Morlock, of Orchard Park, N.Y., is a business communication major. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Panhellenic Council, Habitat for Humanity and several academic honoraries. She is the daughter of Joseph Morlock and Brenda Larivey.
Justin Munz, of Emporium, Pa., is a chemistry major with a minor in biochemistry and certification from the American Chemical Society. He is involved with many organizations on campus including Student Government Association, Thiel Activities Board, Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and several academic honoraries. Munz is also a peer leader, tutor and resident assistant. He is the son of Thomas and Brenda Munz.
Michelle Gable, of Mars, Pa., is a pre-med/biology major. She is captain of the cheerleading squad, vice president of Zeta Tau Delta and a member of the biology honorary, the Newman Society and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She is the daughter of Irvin and Teresa Gable.
Mike Hart, of Sandy Lake, Pa., is a member of the Philosophy and Art Clubs, Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and the Thiel Activities Board. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. David Hart.
Michelle Blose, of Tarentum, Pa., is a neuroscience and psychology major. She is a member of the Thiel cheerleading squad, Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Women’s Leadership, Circle K, and Lambda Sigma honorary, Newman Society and Habitat for Humanity. She is the daughter of Mary Francis Blose and Kenneth Blose Sr.
Ryan Prescott, of Indiana Township, Pa., is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and media director of the Student Government Association and Thiel Activities Board. A communication studies major, Prescott is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Prescott.
Shaina Rochford, of Boardman, Ohio, is a political science major and a member of the Organization of Black Collegiates and Habitat for Humanity. She is the daughter of Rhenetta Rochford.
Matt Schneider, of Butler, Pa., is freshman class president, a member of the Thiel Activities Board and is currently pledging Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. A neuroscience major, he is the son of Gary and Sharon Schneider.
