TWO JOIN THIEL COLLEGE FACULTY

GREENVILLE, PA – Thiel College welcomed two new full-time faculty members for the 2009-10 academic year, which began today.

The new faculty members are:

  • Bart Biroschak, instructor of political science. Biroschak holds a bachelor’s degree from Hiram College and a master’s of public administration degree from Northern Kentucky University. He is currently in a doctoral program at the University of Cincinnati. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, this is Biroschak’s first faculty appointment.
  • Gayle Jesse, lecturer of mathematics and computer science. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Robert Morris University and a Master’s of Science in business administration from California University of Pennsylvania, and is currently enrolled in a doctorate program in information science and communications at RMU. Jesse previously served as a business and computer instructor at Pittsburgh Technical Institute and Penn Commercial. Jesse is a native of McDonald, Pa.

New adjunct faculty include Emily N. Altomare, art; Nancy K. Bires, education; Kurt A. Elbin, health and physical education; Rita M. Dorsch, English; Melissa Philson, psychology; and Bruce “Randy” Thompson, Spanish.
