GREENVILLE, PA—Thiel College’s Greek life honorary, Order of Omega, is looking for local bowlers—or anyone who wants to have fun while supporting a worthy cause—to participate in the Special Olympics Bowl-a-thon on March 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Greenville Bowling Alley.
The entrance fee for each team of six is $50 and all proceeds benefit Crawford County Special Olympics. Teams are asked to register by March 24. Teams will be given a specific time for their game after registering. Order of Omega is also accepting sponsorships for student teams. Call for more details.
“The Special Olympics Bowl-a-thon is a great chance for Thiel students and local community members to spend some time together while raising money for a great cause,” says Barbara Blue, director of student activities and Greek life at Thiel. “Special Olympians will be a part of the event and bowling with the participants. It will be a great, fun way to make a difference in our community.”
