GREENVILLE, PA – Thiel College public relations students are looking for a few good businesses—to promote.

During the spring 2008 semester, students in Thiel’s public relations course will donate their time and energy to work on public relations campaigns for Greenville and Shenango Valley businesses. The campaigns would be created and executed as part of the students’ coursework and include anything from press releases to promotional pieces to advertising for print, radio or television. While the students’ work is free-of-charge, costs associated with buying advertising space or time will be the responsibility of the business.

Volunteer business owners should be willing and able to travel to Thiel College several times during the spring semester, which runs from January through April, to meet with students as needed. Business owners also should be able to supply students with any current marketing materials and the goals they wish to accomplish through the PR campaign.
