GREENVILLE, PA—More than 25 Thiel College employees participated in National Walk @ Lunch Day on April 30. Walk @ Lunch Day was created by Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies from around the country as a way to help people incorporate physical activity into their day. These Thiel employees, along with thousands of other walkers across the country, put on their walking shoes and fit a half hour of physical activity into their busy schedules. Thiel is also using National Walk @ Lunch Day as the kick off to its 10,000 Steps Challenge, a 12-week program from Highmark BCBS designed to help members become more physically active by using a pedometer to track the number of steps taken each day.
