GREENVILLE, PA – Thiel College will hold its annual holiday season lighting ceremony and worship service, Lighting the Way, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the college’s David Johnson Memorial Chapel.
The evening will begin with a brief worship service featuring scripture readings and Advent hymns in the chapel. Participants will process outdoors to the plaza area for the lighting of the Christmas tree.
The Rev. Dr. Andrea Ng’weshemi, campus pastor, will officiate. The college’s Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Michael Bray, professor of music, will perform during the ceremony.
Refreshments will be served in the Rotunda Bistro of the Howard Miller Student Center following the ceremony. The event is free and open to the public.
