GREENVILLE, Pa. – On Nov. 12 in honor of Veteran’s Day, Thiel College raised a U.S. flag, which was originally flown in Iraq, over campus. The flag was displayed over one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces on Veteran’s Day 2005. It was a gift from one of the U.S. soldiers occupying the palace, William Thiel Jr.
