Dr. Jay A. Ward, professor of English at Thiel College, was recently selected by the editors of European Romantic Review to serve as an evaluator/referee for a submitted article titled “Icarian Romanticism—The Motif of Soaring and Falling in British Romantic Poetry.”
Ward was asked to serve in this capacity because of his previous conference papers and publications in this area of Romanticism studies.
Ward, a resident of Sharon, joined the Thiel College faculty as an assistant professor of English and communication in 1978. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Butler University, and his master’s from Indiana Central University. Ward earned his Ph.D. from Ball State University.
