Ronald B. Anderson, chair of the Thiel College Board of Trustees, announced today the resignation of Dr. Lance A. Masters, 17th president of Thiel College, Greenville, Pennsylvania, effective May 15.
Masters has accepted a position as senior vice president of SAGE Scholars, Inc., in Philadelphia.
“We are appreciative for Dr. Masters’ eight years of service to the Thiel College community,” said Anderson. “A lot has been accomplished at Thiel during his stay, such as campus beautification, the significant addition of new facilities, and the development of new academic programs. We wish him and his family the best in their future endeavors.”
Although his resignation is not effective until May 15, Masters will begin working for SAGE at the beginning of March. Masters will continue assisting Thiel to help bridge the gap during the transition process.
A search for new leadership will begin immediately, said Anderson. |
