The Office of Educational Outreach at Thiel College announced today the availability of seven scholarship positions available for students from Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties in Ohio.
Through a generous contribution from the Marion G. Resch Foundation of Youngstown, students intending to study in a four-year program in the fields of biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics or neuroscience may be qualified to apply for the Marion G. Resch Science Scholarship at Thiel College. This program will reserve four of the seven scholarships for young women of the Mahoning Valley.
The late Mrs. Resch was a strong advocate of the education of young people and the Resch Foundation, managed by Butler Wick Trust Company of Youngstown, honors her legacy by granting money in support of scholarships and early intervention programs for students in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in Ohio.
For scholarship details, requirements and qualifications, students should visit the scholarship website at www.thiel.edu/admissions/resch-scholarship.htm or contact Aaron Petuch, eastern Ohio admissions counselor at 724-589-2177 or 1-800-24-THIEL.
