Alpha Chi inducts 23 students

GREENVILLE, PA – Twenty-three Thiel College
students were inducted into the Theta Chapter of the
national honorary fraternity Alpha Chi, the highest academic achievement
a student can receive at Thiel, at a special ceremony on Friday, Feb.
24 in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the college’s Howard Miller
Student Center.
Membership in Alpha Chi is by invitation to full-time junior and senior
students. Seniors must attain a grade point average of 3.6 and rank
in the top 10 percent of their class. Juniors must attain a grade point
average of 3.7 and rank in the top five percent of their class.

Shelby
Spence of Cranberry Township, Pa., a senior English
and secondary education major, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray E.
Spence of Cranberry Township.
Nicole
Cianci of Greenville, Pa., senior elementary education
major with an English minor, is the daughter of Judy L. Pressler and
Paul Cianci, both of Greenville.
Ashley
Peterson of Moon Township, Pa., a senior business administration
and business communication double major, is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Gary E. Peterson of Moon Township

Cordero of Pittsburgh, a senior business administration
and business communication double major, is the daughter of Mr. and
