Thiel announces names of December graduates
For immediate release March 16, 2006

GREENVILLE, PA – Thiel College awarded bachelor of arts degrees to 32 students in December.  Although winter graduates have received their degrees, they are encouraged to attend the college’s spring commencement ceremony on May 7.

PENNSYLVANIA 

Allegheny County

Robert Dillon of Pittsburgh (Millvale) earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. He is the son of Barbara Keenan of Pittsburgh. 

Erica Gregoire of Natrona Heights earned a bachelor of arts degree in history. She is the daughter of Lisa V. Gregoire of Natrona Heights. 

Justin Kuban of Allison Park, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and business administration.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kuban of Allison Park 

Julie Stevens of Gibsonia earned a bachelor of arts degree in business communication.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Stevens of Gibsonia. 

Albert Theobald of Pittsburgh (Mt. Oliver) earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert N. Theobald of Pittsburgh. 

Michael Voelker of Pittsburgh (Brentwood) earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael T. Voelker of Pittsburgh. 

Emily Wiercinski of Pittsburgh (Mt. Lebanon) earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication.  She is the daughter of Leslie D. Shaffer of Albuquerque, N.M., and John Wiercinski of Mercer, Pa. 

Armstrong County

Jack A. Cooper of Freeport, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in juvenile and family justice and sociology.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary K. Cooper of Freeport. 

Bradley Patton of Kittanning, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in history.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence H. Patton of Kittanning.

Butler County

Daniel Cookson of Saxonburg, Pa., formerly of Chircora, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.  He is the son of Pamela Cookson of Saxonburg.

Jeremy Cypher of Cabot, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and business administration.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Cypher of Cabot. 

Evan Knox of Karns City, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in history.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Knox of Karns City. 

Clearfield County

David Hendricks of Rockton, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Hendricks of Rockton. 

Crawford County

Jessiah Fleet of Meadville earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. 

Lawrence County

Anne Orelli of New Castle, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in juvenile and family justice. She is the daughter of Robin Orelli of New Castle and the late Ernest Orelli Sr.

McKean County

Charity Harrier of Florence, Ky., formerly of Port Allegany, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in art. She is the daughter of Hope Harrier-Baxter of Florence, formerly of Port Allegany. 

Mercer County

Rebecca Adams of Mercer, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and sociology.  She is the daughter of Ronzel D. Adams Jr. of Mercer. 

Kimberly (Gibson) Banic of Greenville earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. 

Christine Brown of Jamestown, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Brown of Jamestown. 

Nicole Cianci of Greenville earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.  She is the daughter of Judy L. Pressler and Paul M. Cianci, both of Greenville. 

Andrew Clark of Greenville earned a bachelor of arts degree in environmental science.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Clark of Greenville. 

Jarred Floch of Jamestown, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration.  He is the son of David L. Floch of Jamestown. 

Nicole Galloway of Greenville earned a bachelor of arts degree in English.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Galloway of Greenville.

Sean Mocker of Sharpsville earned a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Mocker of Sharpsville. 

Karen Mong of Greenville earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. 

Sean Morgan of Jamestown, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. 

Mark Rupnik of Farrell, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in art.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian E. Rupnik of Farrell. 

Jerry Sovesky of Sharon, Pa., earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and business administration. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald A. Sovesky of Sharon.

Ashtabula County

Dennis Wright of Kingsville, Ohio, earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration.  He is the son of Joanna J. Osborne of Kingsville, Ohio, and Donald E. Wright of Conneaut, Ohio. 

Lake County

Joshua Haladyna of Kirtland, Ohio, earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lanny F. Haladyna of Kirtland.

INTERNATIONAL

An international student from India was also awarded a bachelor of arts degree.
