Sixteen to
be Inducted into Thiel’s Sigma Tau Delta

GREENVILLE, PA – Sixteen Thiel College students
were inducted into the Alpha Iota Kappa chapter of the international
English honorary society, Sigma Tau Delta, on Sunday, Feb. 19, in the
Sawhill-Georgian Room of the Howard Miller Student Center on the Thiel
College campus.
The students inducted were:
Megan Adams, a senior history major and English minor, is a 2002 graduate
of Kittanning Senior High School, Kittanning, Pa. She is the daughter
of Mark and Gail Adams of Kittanning.
Heather Andrake, an English and secondary education major, is a 2002
graduate of Cochranton Junior Senior High School, Cochranton, Pa. She
is the daughter of John and Diane Andrake of Cochranton.
John Christ, an English major and music minor, is a 2003 graduate of
Hampton High School, Allison Park, Pa. He is the son of John and Marylouise
Christ of Gibsonia, Pa.
Tara Clausen, an English and secondary education major, is a 2003 graduate
of Cocalico High School, Denver, Pa. She is the daughter of Richard
and Denise Clausen of Reinholds, Pa.
Lierin Greenwald, and English major and psychology minor, is a 2004
graduate of Beaver High School, Beaver, Pa. She is the daughter of Ronald
and Deborah Greenwald of Beaver.
Joshua Larsen, an English major, is a 2004 graduate of Collegiate Academy,
Erie, Pa. He is the son of Mark and Jacquelyn Larsen of Erie.
Karen Mellor, an English major and history minor, is a 2004 graduate
of Hempfield Area High School, Greensburg, Pa. She is the daughter of
Brad and Kim Mellor of Irwin, Pa.
Christine Nelson, an English and history major, is a 2004 graduate
of Fox Chapel Area High School, Pittsburgh. She is the daughter of John
and Nancy Nelson of Cheswick, Pa.
Miranda Ortz, an English major, is a 2004 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion
High School, Foxburg, Pa. She is the daughter of Kent and Anne Ortz
of Emlenton, Pa.
Charlynn Seidel, and English major and theatre minor, is a 2003 graduate
of Jamestown Area High School, Jamestown, Pa. She is the daughter of
Kris and Charlotte Doeberiener of Jamestown.
Hannah Smith, an English and secondary education major, is a 2004 graduate
of Elderton High School, Elderton, Pa. She is the daughter of Randall
and Sandy Smith of Shelocta, Pa.
Leah Snyder, an English and secondary education major, is a 2004 graduate
of Edison High School, Richmond, Ohio. She is the daughter of Ronald
and Cheryl Snyder of Toronto, Ohio.
Noël Stanger, an English major, is a graduate
of Greenville High School, Greenville, Pa. She is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stanger of Greenville.
Michael Stimac, an English and secondary education major, is a 2004
graduate of Karns City High School, Karns City, Pa. He is the son of
Michael and Christine Stimac of East Brady, Pa.
Allyson Waldon, an English major and performing arts minor, is a 2004
graduate of Western Senior High School, Baltimore, Md. She is the daughter
of Winston and Mary Waldon of Baltimore.
Jack Walk, an English and secondary education major, is a 1991 graduate
of Union High School, Rimersburg, Pa. He is the husband of Victoria
Walk, of Greenville, Pa. Walk is the son of Deniese Kline-Thatcher of
Sharon, Pa., and Jack Walk, Sr. of San Diego, Calif.
