Four Inducted
into Thiel’s Phi Alpha Theta

GREENVILLE, PA – Megan
Adams, Anita Deloe, Christopher Edison and Jared
Hirtz were inducted into Thiel College’s Zeta Epsilon
chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a national history honor
society, on Jan. 26.
Adams, a senior history major and English minor, is a 2002 graduate
of Kittanning Senior High School. She is the daughter of Mark and Gail
Adams of Kittanning, Pa.
Deloe, a senior history and secondary education major, is a 2001 graduate
of General McLane High School in Edinboro, Pa. She is the daughter of
Deborah Whipple of Erie, Pa., and Daniel Deloe of Dunnelleon, Fla.
Edison, a sophomore history and secondary education major, is a 2004
graduate of Jefferson Area High School in Jefferson, Ohio. He is the
son of Jerry and Shelby Edison of Jefferson.
Hirtz, a junior English and secondary education major and history minor,
is a 2003 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School in Uniontown, Pa.
He is the son of Nancy McIntyre of Uniontown.
Phi Alpha Theta is a history honor society whose mission as a professional
society is to promote the study of history through the
encouragement of research, good teaching, publication,
and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians |
