GREENVILLE, PA – Kelly Bailey has been named director of annual giving at Thiel College, effective immediately.
Bailey, who had served as executive director of the Northern Mercer County United Way in Greenville since 2001, will oversee the college’s annual fund drive, with a goal in the range of $690,000. She will coordinate phone, letter and in-person campaigns to alumni, friends, businesses and employees for charitable giving to the Annual Fund. In addition, she will cultivate relationships with parents of students through the Thiel Family Council.
“As Executive Director, Kelly began a track record of fundraising success at the Northern Mercer County United Way,” said Thiel College Vice President for College Advancement David Grober. “In a relatively short time she has shown an ability to pull together human and financial resources for very worthy causes, and the Greenville area as a whole has benefited from her direction and active solicitation.”
Bailey earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mary Washington College in 2001. She and her husband, Jonathan, reside in Greenville. |
