Passavant Memorial Center at Thiel College. Ramirez garnered critical acclaim with his quirky role in the cult hit "Napoleon Dynamite," a story about a ninja-loving teenager growing up in the far reaches of Idaho. Ramirez portrays Pedro, the title character's best friend. The film was nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival in 2004. Ramirez began acting at age 13 and has had several television roles, including parts on "Boston Public" and "E.R." He also has acted along such film greats as James Coburn and Albert Finney. Ramirez also owns his own disc jockeying company, Nocturnal Rampage, and is known to host some of the largest dance parties in California. The event is free and open to the public.
