Student Paper To Be Published In Physics
Journal

GREENVILLE, PA - A paper co-authored by Thiel College student Do Dai
Nguyen has been accepted for publication in the peer reviewed journal "The European Journal of Physics."
"The European Journal of Physics" is the premier physics teaching journal published by the Institute of Physics
in the United Kingdom.
The paper, "Real World Damping of a Physical Pendulum," resulted from some work Nguyen did in his experimental
physics course during the fall 2004 semester. Thiel College Professor of Physics Dr. Michael Bacon co-authored
the paper.
Nguyen is a senior physics major from Orlando, Fla. |
