Community Singers Needed for Thiel Choir Concert

The Thiel College Choir is inviting community singers to join in a performance scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 21, at First Presbyterian Church, 323 Main St., Greenville.

THIEL COLLEGE DISCONTINUES SIX SPORTS

Thiel College announced Thursday the discontinuance of six varsity athletic programs, effective at the end of the current academic year.  Eliminated will be men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis.

Megan Adams, Anita Deloe, Christopher Edison and Jared Hirtz were inducted into Thiel College’s Zeta Epsilon chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a national history honor society, on Jan. 26.

THIEL HONORS THIEL FACULTY, STAFF AT FOUNDERS’ DAY

Thiel College will pay tribute to 10 faculty and staff members and an area business owner at its annual Founders’ Day ceremony at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the Howard Miller Student Center, announced Thiel President and CEO Dr. Lance A. Masters.

COMMUNICATION PROFESSOR MOROCO EARNS PH.D, RECEIVES PROMOTION AT THIEL

Laurie Moroco, instructor of communication at Thiel College, successfully defended her dissertation on Nov. 11 and was awarded her Ph.D. in rhetoric from the Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies at Duquesne University.
