LOCAL STUDENT SAFE AFTER LONDON BOMBINGS
Megan Adams
of Kittanning, Pa., a Thiel College junior studying in London this summer, escaped injury after four bombs exploded in London's transit system Thursday, killing at least 33 people.

GROVER SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ADVANCED PLACEMENT READING
Andrew Grover, mathematics and computer science professor at Thiel College, was selected to participate in the annual reading and scoring of the College Board's Advanced Placement Examinations in computer science this June.

STUDENTS NAMED TO THIEL COLLEGE DEAN'S LIST
Three hundred twelve Thiel College students were named to the dean's list for the Spring 2005 Semester. A student must attain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 on a 4.0 scale while being enrolled full time to be eligible for the dean's list.
