GREENVILLE, Pa. - For those who are interested
in hosting a Thiel College international student, the college will hold a host family information session at 7
p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, in the Weyers Lounge of the college's Howard Miller Student Center.
Brad Skippon, coordinator of international student affairs, will discuss how to become a host family and the expectations

Thiel is currently searching for host families for the upcoming 2002-2003 academic year. Each fall, Thiel hosts

"Host families who help Thiel's international students provide much needed exposure to family life in the
United States and assistance in the students' lives both on and off campus," said Skippon.
Hosting a student is not a live-in arrangement, and is intended to broaden the students' understanding of American
culture. Hosts can offer as much time as they wish, and families with children are encouraged to participate.
