The Department of Public Safety maintains a safe environment for the entire campus community. The department is staffed with five full-time and several part-time police officers. They are responsible for safety and security issues ranging from fire safety inspections and crime prevention programming to administration of the College vehicle registration and parking program.

All of the department's officers are Pa. Municipal Police Officer Training Academy graduates.
