Founded at Richmond College, now the University of Richmond, on November 1, 1901, Sigma Phi Epsilon’s goal has been to create peace trough brotherhood by the love of God, with such programs as The Balanced Man. In this environment, members of Sigma Phi Epsilon have strived for success in all walks of life and, to this day, over 240,000 members have made Sigma Phi Epsilon the largest fraternity in the nation. The Penn Nu chapter at Thiel College was founded in 1948. The brothers at Thiel take part in numerous campus activities and many are leaders of organizations. The brothers are also involved in community activities, such as the Adopt-A-Highway program and perform volunteer work at the local Good Shepard Center. They serve as mentors for different groups on campus and are regarded as leaders by many. The Sigma Phi Epsilon brotherhood is very strong and strives to be the best in life. By joining Sigma Phi Epsilon, members will experience memories that will last a lifetime and also make life long friends in the process.
