Pride, Spirit, Togetherness. Those are just a few of the things that Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity stands for and believes in. Founded in 1899 at City College of New York, Delta Sigma Phi has been an organization for men who want to experience more in their college life. In 1915, the Sigma Chapter was born at Thiel College. For over 85 years the Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi has been encouraging every member to maintain the bonds of brotherhood and friendship. With Delta Sig’s involvement in collegiate organizations, including the Student Government, the Thielensian Newspaper, Circle K, and members in numerous academic honor societies, it is clear that Delta Sig’s strive to create a “higher standard” for themselves and the college. Delta Sigma Phi also engages in a number of activities to help show support in the community, volunteering for local non-profit organizations, the Adopt-A-Highway program, and raising money for the March of Dimes by participating in Walk America annually. “It’s not what we gain but what we give that measures the value of the life we live” – Charles Tonser, National Founder
