The Chi Omega Fraternity was founded on April 5, 1895 at the University of Arkansas. The Beta Delta chapter of Chi Omega began its history on the Thiel College campus December 2, 1950. Over 100 years later, Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization in the world with 240,000 initiates and over 170 collegiate chapters. Chi Omegas share the colors cardinal and straw. Over the years, Chi Omegas have always remained loyal and true to their six purposes. Those purposes are Friendship, High Standards of Personnel, Sincere Learning and Creditable Scholarship, Participation in Campus Activities, Career Development, and Community Service. Our National philanthropy is “Make A Wish.” Here on Thiel’s campus almost every organization includes a Chi Omega. From the theatre to the tennis courts, Chi Omegas spread themselves out as leaders and members of many clubs and organizations. Chi Omega holds the Student Government Executive President
