PHI THETA PHI FRATERNITY Alpha Chapter
About Phi Theta Phi: Phi Theta Phi believes that the fir reason for a man's attendace at Thiel is to prepare for a life of service to his profession, his family and his community. to that end we work with our members to foster Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship as stated in the Code of Honor and Responsibility. We also know that leadership has to be developed and, therefore, we provide a leadership seminar each year for all the brothers, a weekend retreat with require attendance, where brothers learn leadership techniques form alumni as well as Thiel faculty and staff through presentations, role playing and group discussions. The Fraternity has stressed service to the campus community and the community-at-large since its founding in 1966. Phi Theta Phi has continued to sponsor the Walk-a-thon for Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. Since its inception in 1968, the Walk-a-thon has raised more than $1.2 million for the Free Care Fund at Children's Hospital. Phi Theta Phi has raised more money for charity than any other chapter in the nation, regardless of Greek affiliation.
