KAPPA SIGMA FRATERNITY
Xi Epsilon Chapter
About Kappa Sigma :
Do you want more from your college life? Kappa Sigma makes it happen. Founded 600 years ago at the University of Bologna in Italy, and on December 10, 1869 at the University of Virginia in the U.S., Kappa Sigma can provide you with outstanding opportunities for fellowship, leadership, scholarship and service. With well over 200,000 initiates worldwide, Kappa Sigma provides a sizable network within which every brother can strive to be the best man he can be.
The Xi Epsilon chapter at Thiel College was founded in 1996. Although Kappa Sigma is the youngest fraternity on campus, it hasn’t stopped brothers from being involved and taking the lead. The brothers also commit themselves to their community by providing services to those who are in need. The chapter has raised over $9000 for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in the annual See-Saw-A-Thon, and helps keep Greenville and the surrounding communities clean by participating in the Adopt-A-Highway program.
Joining Kappa Sigma provides opportunities for fellowship, fun, and personal growth you simply can’t get elsewhere. Brothers take road trips to other chapters, hold formal dances, and simply have fun by being the closest type of friend you can have--a brother. “Not for a Day, an Hour, or a College Term Only, but For Life...”
