During my time at Thiel I have found the people in campus ministry to be another family that makes me feel very at home. It gives me an opportunity to lead as well as follow and to rest, play and grow with others. Each year promises new chances to serve others and learn more about faith. I feel like I have a place and I belong. The best part is, as soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed into the fellowship. I knew I mattered as a person. Being active in campus ministry and attending chapel services has truly made my college experience what it is.

I am a sophomore studying psychology and sociology. I am Vice President of Thiel Christian Fellowship and Student Government Representative for Lutheran Student Movement. I am also a Peer Minister. I worked at Camp Lutherlyn this summer and I volunteer at an after school program called GRASP at First Baptist Church in Greenville.

I am currently a freshman at Thiel and I am majoring in film production and environmental science. My goal is to film movies and documentary films concerning modern day issues. My first time attending campus ministry activities was very exciting. The atmosphere there made me feel comfortable and at home. Now I am proud to be a part of campus ministry and recommend it to other students, regardless of spirituality.
