A variety of religious organizations exist within the student body of Thiel College, designed to foster religious growth and fellowship. These organizations plan and sponsor a variety of activities including worship services, Bible studies, retreats, service projects and fellowship opportunities. All religious organizations participate in the Student Government Association (S.G.A) and adhere to its policies and procedures. Lutheran Student Movement (LSM) Lutheran Student Movement is an active organization for people of all religious affiliations. LSM members participate in regional (Mid-Atlantic LSM) and national (LSM-USA) gatherings. The primary goal of LSM is to strengthen and develop religious faith and life through participation in Word and Sacrament in the sphere of higher education. LSM sponsors Bible studies, guest speakers, community service, retreats and social activities. Weekly LSM meetings are held on campus Sunday evenings after Sunday evening worship. Thiel Christian Fellowship (TCF) Thiel Christian Fellowship meets weekly on Monday evenings in the chapel at 8:30 p.m. The purpose of TCF is to glorify God and serve the Thiel College community by providing campus-wide Christian fellowship opportunities and positive social alternatives. Monday evening gatherings usually include singing, Bible study and fellowship activities. Other TCF events and activities include fundraisers, service projects, retreats and small-group Bible studies. All members of the campus community are welcome to participate.
