The Thiel College chapel is named in memory of the son of Glen and Lavonne Johnson, members of First English Lutheran Church, Pittsburgh, PA. The chapel was dedicated on May 6, 2006 and we thank Glen and Lavonne Johnson for their funding. The Chapel is also available for private prayer and student use during regular hours during the weekdays and by special request at other times. The Thiel Choir rehearses and presents concerts in the Chapel while other groups host Bible studies and classes. The Chapel stands at the center of the east and west portions of the campus as a witness to the centrality of our spiritual life that we share together at Thiel College.
