Waiting lists will be available for students who prefer premium housing, if it is no longer available at sign up time.
If a roommate does not return for the fall or spring semester, a student has the option of choosing a roommate; or if a private room is available, they may select the private room at the additional charge. However, if a student does not choose a roommate or refuses an assigned roommate, he or she will be charged an additional fee for a private room.
No room changes can be made without prior approval of the Student Life Office. Room change forms are available in the Howard Miller Student Center in the Student Life Office. Unauthorized room changes will result in a fine of $25 per day. Email the Student Life office or consult the Student Handbook (2023-24) for room change guidelines and fees.
Thiel College reserves the right to assign rooms/ roommates and expects all students to respect its’ property and furnishings. If a student does not choose a roommate and does not wish to pay for a private room, the Student Life office will assist the student in finding a roommate, either in his or her room or in another room.
