About Chi Omega

Founded in 1895, Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternity in the world with over 394,000 initiates and 181 collegiate chapters. Chi Omegas have remained loyal and true to their six purposes—friendship, high standards of personnel, sincere learning and creditable scholarship, participation in campus activities, career development and community service. In 2002, Chi Omega announced the Chi Omega/Make-A-Wish alliance. Since the start of this alliance, Chi Omega has raised more than 26 million dollars and has volunteered over 1.2 million hours for Make-A-Wish. Because of this commitment, they recognize Chi Omega as one of their Cause Champion Sponsors. At Thiel, from the theatre to the tennis courts, Chi Omegas are leaders and members of many clubs and organizations.
