Thiel College offers many opportunities for students to continue performing with quality instrumental ensembles. The Thiel College Concert Band and the Greenville Symphony Orchestra serve as large concert ensembles, but the most recent addition to our band program, The Tomcat Marching Pride, was also in the spotlight this year as they successfully took the field for the first time during fall semester of 2010. The overwhelming success of this ensemble has sparked student, campus, and community interest in continued growth of Thiel's band program and has lead to the formation of additional ensembles for the fall of 2011, including a Jazz Ensemble and smaller chamber groups. Thiel offers scholarships for instrumentalists, colorguard, and majorette members. See our "scholarship" link for more information.
