Erin Rodgers '03,
the inaugural winner of the J. Lynn Trimble Award, earned eight
varsity letters in cross country and track and field. She was
crowned champion at the 2003 Presidents' Athletic Conference
(PAC) Outdoor Track & Field
Championships in the 400-meter dash and was a second-place finisher
in the 400-meter hurdles, an event in which she qualified for
the ECAC Championships. In 2001 she set the outdoor school record
in the 800 meters with a time of 2:25.8 as well as the indoor
record in the same event with a time of 2:25.5. Rodgers owns
three individiual school records and is part of three relay teams
that currently hold school records. In the classroom Rodgers
maintained a 3.4 GPA as a biology major. She was selected to
the college's Dean's List on five occasions and was a three-time
member of the Academic all-America team in cross country. |
