For Immediate Release: March 15, 2008 THIEL'S COLEY FINISHES AS ALL-AMERICAN IN 55-METER HURDLES
Coley had failed to reach the finals in his previous two indoor national championship events and earned All-American honors running out of the first lane Saturday. He is Thiel's first-ever male indoor track All-American. He advanced to the national championships by running the top provisional qualifying time of 7.58 on Feb. 2 at the West Virginia University State Farm Open. With Coley's sixth-place finish and freshman Josh Jones' (New Castle/New Castle) national championship in the high jump (6-11), the Tomcats tied for eighth-place as a team with 13.0 total points. |

ADA, Ohio (March 15) -- Thiel College junior Dorran Coley (Kingston, Jamaica/Kingston College) earned his first indoor All-American honors by finishing sixth with a time of 7.61 in the 55-meter high hurdle finals at the 2008 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Ohio Northern University at the ONU Sports Center in Ada, Ohio.
