For Immediate Release: November 10, 2007 CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES SEASON AT MIDEAST REGIONALS BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Nov. 10) -- The Thiel College men's cross country squad finished its 2007 campaign Saturday at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship, hosted by Lehigh University, Saturday morning. The Tomcats finished 34th of 41 participating institutions with 963 points. Freshman Alex Bent (Oakhill, Va./Westfield) led the way for the Tomcats, finishing 176th overall with a time of 28:29. Junior Klavin Boyd (Twinsburg, Ohio/Twinsburg) was 187th with a time of 28;45 while freshman Derek Workman (Valencia/Mars) finished 193rd with a time of 28:53. |
