Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society acknowledges the continuing successes and achievements of students in Academic Success Programs.

Its purposes are to promote continued high

academic standards, to foster increased communication among members, and to honor academic excellence achieved by students.  Members of XAE pledge to continue to excel academically, promote academic excellence in others, and to help those who genuinely aspire to the same goals.

The Gamma Sigma chapter at Thiel College was chartered in April 2002 and has included 36 members to date.  Currently the chapter has eight active members and four new initiates.

Chi Alpha Epsilon Community Service

The chapter has chosen Head Start of Mercer County as its service project, supplying pre-school children with a personally decorated tote bag filled with a book, coloring book and crayons.  The tote bags are distributed to the children in December.
