As an Act 101 institution, Thiel College offers its students the opportunity to participate in a unique program. Established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1971, this program is designed to provide academic assistance for students who have disadvantages in the areas of income and academics. Students seeking admission to college who lack adequate funds, who have weak performance on standardized tests, or who have a low high school GPA are eligible for a variety of services to promote their academic success.

All services
are provided without additional charges. Students must meet residence
and income level requirements. However, for those students not meeting
these two requirements, the college itself provides similar services. |
