Equestrian Club Places at First Show of the Semester
Four of the 17 Thiel College Equestrian Club members traveled to Findlay University recently to compete at the first horse show of the semester. They endured cold weather and sore muscles from riding lessons to get ready for the show and their hard work paid off! They came back to Thiel with two third-place awards, two fourth-place awards, one fifth-place honor and one sixth-place honor.
Intercollegiate shows are comprised of seven to eight riders in each class and six places are given based on the judge’s opinion of the rider's ability. The Thiel students competed at a Zone 6 Region 1 competition where they competed against the top two intercollegiate teams in the nation. Showing for Thiel were Megan O'Dell, Kimberly Ault, Jessica Dailey and Elaine Kelley. (Thanks to Erika Leonhard who traveled to video tape the show.)

She plans to become a certified public accountant after graduation.
