Alumni Spirit Day

On Saturday, Jan. 21 we hosted our first annual Alumni Spirit Squad Day. Dance and Cheer alumni returned to campus and spent a fun-filled day with current members of the Spirit Squads! We started the day with a meet and greet followed by a performance of the Thiel College fight song during half-time of the men’s basketball game against Waynesburg. A reception was held after for all returning alumni, current spirit squad members and families. The turnout was incredible and we hope to make this an annual event!

Alumni Basketball Day

The second annual Alumni Basketball Day was held on Saturday, Jan. 28. Men and Women basketball alumni returned to campus for what turned out to be an incredible day!

The day began with a registration/continental breakfast for about 45 returning alumni. A co-ed game was then played by graduates from the class of 1970 through the most recent 2011 class. After lunch, everyone attended the women and men’s games against Westminster College. All alumni were introduced and presented with some great Thiel merchandise provided by head coaches, Angie Zeuch and Tim Loomis. Afterward, we all made our way to Cianci’s in Greenville for a well-deserved reception with food and fun for everyone! This event will continue to grow from year to year.
