Why I initially chose Thiel: During my campus visit I really liked the campus and the academic curriculum.
Classroom/Dorm Story: Being both an RA and a Hall Director, I developed some lifelong friendships with quite a number of my residents. I am still in contact with a number of professors as well.
How my Thiel education aided me in my career: My Thiel College in-class experience taught me how to think critically. My outside of class education helped me to understand the importance of creating environments which contribute to the education of the whole student, not just their intellect.
How my experience at Thiel aided me in my life/career: I had such a positive experiences as an undergrad RA and Hall Director that it led me to my career in Student Affairs/ Higher Ed Administration.
Comments about your journey at Thiel and the relationships made, etc.: I will always hold dear the lifelong friendships I made. My Thiel experience helped me to understand myself and our worldbetter.
Why I give back to Thiel and serve on the Alumni Board: Thiel has done so much for me as far as my personal and professional life path, that I want to return the favor.
