PROVIDING FOR THIEL'S FUTURE
Named for the year of the founding of Thiel college, the Society of 1866 gratefully recognizes and honors those who, with vision and generosity, have made provision for an estate gift to Thiel through bequest, insurance policy, IRA/Pension, a trust in their will, gift annuity or charitable trust. These individuals ensure that Thiel remains strong in its mission of providing a quality, values-based liberal arts higher education.
Donors may designate how their gifts will support Thiel's ongoing educational efforts. Many of the endowed student scholarships, buildings and programs on our campus today are named for those who included the college in their estate plans so that the Thiel experience is the best it can be.
At the end of the 2006-2007 fiscal year (July 1 - June 30), 300 Society of 1866 members have established estate gifts valued at more than $52 million. To receive information on the Society of 1866, please write to Mario N. Marini '91, Director of Special & Planned Giving, call him at (724)589-2022 or email him at mmarini@thiel.edu.
