Directions to Campus

Roth Hall

We are delighted that you are considering taking a trip to Thiel College. We invite you to gain first-hand knowledge of Thiel by visiting our scenic 135-acre campus, situated just 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Erie, and touring our beautiful tree-lined campus in the heart of western Pennsylvania’s hill country. We welcome your visit at any time of the year, but encourage you to come during the academic year when classes are in session. We often suggest to visitors to spend as much time on campus as your schedule will allow, that you take advantage of the many programs offered by the Admissions office and that you explore our campus on your own as well.

To find out more about our campus visit opportunities from the admissions office, please fill out our request for information form here.

Please consider incorporating any of the following into your campus visit:

Campus Tour
Campus Visit Events
Information Sessions
Class Visit
Lunch Program
Overnight Program
Special Visiting Groups

Student-guided campus tours are available to everyone. They generally last one hour and go out daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Advance notice of your visit is preferred. Saturday visits to campus are at 10 a.m. and by appointment only.

Our Campus Visit Events are designed to help you explore the experience that awaits you at Thiel. A special campus preview allows you to gain a first-hand perspective of how a Thiel education supports you in your intellectual and personal development. During your visit you will have the opportunity to tour the campus, interact with current students, faculty and staff, enjoy lunch and learn about the College's academic programs and student life.

Information Sessions
Admission staff members will share with you important information about Thiel such as the application process, financial aid, scholarship information, and many other topics of interest. These sessions, which generally occur after the campus tour, usuaully last 30 minutes. An appointment is not necessary, but it is always helpful so that the staff can prepare the information that is most important to you.

Class Visit
Our professors are delighted to welcome prospective students in their classes. If you are interested in attending a class, please let us know when you schedule your visit. We will provide you with a schedule of available classes and a Thiel student will guide you through the different options. Classes generally last 50 minutes.

Lunch Program
Throughout the academic year, prospective students can request to have lunch with assigned Thiel student hosts. It is a great opportunity for prospective students to have extended conversations with current students. Overnight Program
We invite you to turn your visit to campus into an overnight visit. Please be sure to discuss overnight options with your admissions counselor if you think you would benefit from an on-campus overnight.
