TRAINING

The MIMC staff regularly hosts training workshops for faculty, staff, and students to help facilitate the use of available campus technology. Campus-wide workshops are advertised online, in T-Notes, and via e-mail. If you would like to teach and/or schedule a special training session for your group, please call 724-589-2073 to make arrangements.

Hands-On Moodle Training

Moodle Training classes are available in AC-235; upcoming classes, if any, are listed below. To register, please call 724-589-2073 or send an e-mail to lgraul@thiel.edu or ejones@thiel.edu. Tell us the best way to contact you and which session(s) you would like to attend.  A lack of sufficient registrants will cancel the training session.

Brown Bag Lunches, Tuesdays, 12:00 p.m. in AC-236

These informal Moodle demonstration sessions are a great way to see how your colleagues are using Moodle to simplify or enhance their teaching.  Bring your lunch, visit with colleagues, and perhaps learn a few tricks that you'll want to try for yourself!  (Please let Jennifer Griffin (jgriffin@thiel.edu) know you will be attending)

Tuesday, April 10 .  A panel comprised of Victor Evans, Laurie Moroco and Gary Witowski will demonstrate and discuss making and taking quizzes and tests in Moodle.  We will be given both the instructor's and the student's perspective, since Moodle is used in many graduate school courses.
