The MIMC Classroom

The computer classroom area of the MIMC features an instructor's position and 32 student positions.  A multimedia projector can display videos as well as the instructor's (or any of the student's) computer screen.  A second input enables visitors to connect their own laptops.

Special foreign language and education software programs are available on these computers, as well as other campus software and connections.  US International keyboard settings facilitate typing in foreign languages.  Headsets with microphones are in place for recording and other multimedia use.  

This equipment may be reserved for groups of up to 25 (an instructor and 25 students) during the hours of operation of the MIMC.  When the MIMC is not open for individual use, all 32 student positions may be used, as well as media production area.   Individuals and small groups may use the equipment on a drop-in basis.  Large groups must make reservations.
