Human Resources is located on the north side of the Financial Services building. The Human Resources staff is committed to serving faculty and staff in the areas of policy establishment and administration, staffing and employment processes, and employee benefit issues.

A few of the ways we can assist you:

• Preparing and placing advertisements for vacant positions within your department;
• Monitoring response from applicants, and communicating with applicants during the selection process;
• Conducting preliminary interviews, and explaining general policies and benefits to prospective employees; and
• Completing benefit enrollment and change forms.

Our goal is to keep you informed regarding updated benefit plans and costs, campus-wide staff events (benefit enrollment periods, recognition dinner, flu vaccine, etc.), position vacancies, holiday schedules and other topics.

In the months to come, look for an increased emphasis on employee handbook review and revision; staff education sessions in the areas of employment law, hiring and staff management practices; establishment of more defined position descriptions for all employees; and a review of the College's performance evaluation processes.
