Data Analyst/Jr. Programmer

The Thiel College Information Technology Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Data Analyst/Jr. Programmer.

The analyst utilizes the College administrative systems (PowerCAMPUS, Microsoft Dynamics, PowerFAIDS) to obtain data and write reports for various external agencies and administrative and academic departments. Selected candidate will be expected to coordinate and collaborate with various College departments to verify data and present reports that aid in decision-making and outcomes assessment. Writes custom code when necessary to ensure processes and reports are accurate and reliable.

High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred, equivalent experience considered. Significant experience working with MS Excel, MS Access, and interfacing with an MS SQL database required. Experience with preparing reports for the web publication via SQL Reporting Services, ColdFusion, Crystal Reports and XML. Also experience with .NET, PHP, VB, or other programming languages would be desired.

Candidate must have a strong commitment to serving in an academic environment with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Candidate must be able to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.
