Full-time Intern Offensive Assistant Football Coach

This position will report to the Head football Coach and the Director of Athletics. This position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the college's intercollegiate football program.

Responsibilities: assist the Head Football Coach in all aspects of game and practice preparations, mentor and monitor the student-athletes academic progress, evaluate personnel, follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division III, the Presidents Athletic Conference, and Thiel College. In addition, this position will be held accountable to recruit and retain quality student-athletes for the college and the football program. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach. This position is a 10 month position with stipend, full housing, meal plan, and benefits, and will require some responsibilities within the residence life area. Preference will be given to candidates with intercollegiate track experience either as a participant or as a coach.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience in collegiate football as a coach preferred.

Human Relations Skills: Ability to function effectively as a team player. Positive attitude towards the college and our athletic program is essential. Ability to conduct yourself in a productive, professional manner at all times is required.
