Biology Department - Assistant Professor The Biology Department of Thiel College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to teach Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Foundations of Biology at the undergraduate level for Fall 2012. The ideal candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness and support of undergraduate research projects. The successful candidate will teach 24 credit hours per academic year, will be expected to develop a new course in molecular biology for the curriculum, will support the overall academic program of the Department of Biology including academic advising of students, and will be asked to contribute to the core curriculum of the College on a periodic basis. A Ph.D. is required; ABD candidates will be considered if the defense of the degree is imminent.
