HEAD CHEERLEADING & DANCE COACH

The Thiel College Department of Athletics seeks a full-time, 10-month cheerleading and dance coach to lead competitive programs in both. Duties will include but are not limited to student-athlete recruitment and retention; program selection and performance; organization and planning of practice sessions; responsibility for program budget, supplies, and travel arrangements; squad presence and performance at all home football, wrestling, and men’s and women’s basketball contests. 

Successful candidate must have knowledge and experience in teaching all facets of cheerleading and dance (co-ed & all-female squads) including basic stunting and safety. AACCA certification required. CPR / First Aid and recognized national cheerleading association certifications preferred. BA/BS required, masters preferred; some competitive experience required.
